The company grew, it was necessary to increase the number of registrations. On the one hand, it was enough to increase investments in marketing, and this would give certain results. But, before that, I suggested updating the registration service so that investments in marketing would give a much greater increase. This is exactly what happened (see below).
To test the effectiveness of the new registration service interface, the company did not increase advertising budgets and investments in marketing. And the number of registrations per month increased by 72% (in some weeks the increase was more than 2 times).
A few months later, the number of registrations dropped sharply. Later, I found out that this was due to a bug on mobile devices that prevented the registration from completing correctly in most cases.
After the bug was fixed, the number of registrations approached the values that were after the introduction of the new registration service.
After stabilizing the number of registrations, the company increased its investment in Marketing, which led to a 91% increase in registrations. But if we compare with the figures before the introduction of the new registration service, the number of registrations per month increased by 337%. It was thanks to the improvement of the interface that such colossal results were achieved.
